Individual Counselling

No relationship can function unless an individual is at peace with himself or herself. There is always hope, no matter how devastated you may feel. We are never going to alter the world or others around us, change needs to start within ourselves. Individual counselling addresses all parts of life, including trauma, abuse, sexual orientation concerns, bullying, self-image, negativity, and others.

Trauma Counselling

Are you consumed by recurring trauma-related thoughts, physical symptoms, depression, and anxiety? Are you easily surprised or scared? Are you constantly aware of potential dangers or have insomnia? Do you have difficulty concentrating? Do you experience irritability, anger, or violent behaviour? Do you feel guilty or ashamed? In therapy, we can tap into your unique coping mechanisms and resilience to help you regain control of your life.

Counselling for adolescents

Parents frequently prioritize counselling. For a teenager to cooperate and stay in counselling, he or she must feel that their needs are met. In therapy, we can do this by identifying goals with suitable outcomes for both the preteen/teen and their parents. Supporting the adolescent's best self, directing them towards their desired future, and encouraging hopeful conversations.

Counselling for depression and anxiety

Are you feeling down or overwhelmed? Is it impacting your relationships? Is it affecting your capacity to operate at work, school, or university? Does this limit your life opportunities? Participate in a treatment process to restore some sense of control and become the best version of yourself despite your circumstances.

Counselling for burnout

Burnout encompasses much more than physical tiredness. Do you lack drive, motivation, or purpose? Do you feel emotionally exhausted or lack a sense of personal accomplishment? Recovering from burnout entails more than maintaining a "balanced lifestyle": Be mindful of exceptions to these symptoms. Clarify your preferred experience instead of these symptoms. Become aware of your current coping behaviour. In addition to resources, skills, and resilience. More importantly, how can you enhance these. Engage in optimistic talks to create your desired future.

Bereavement/grief Counselling

Grief can impact you in a variety of ways and is a highly personal and complicated matter. The experience of losing a loved one is extremely upsetting and is linked to a variety of strong emotions. There is no "usual" approach to deal with loss; everyone handles it differently. Although it may seem like you're having more difficulties than you "should", most individuals shouldn't be concerned about this. It does not imply that you should "hurry up and get on with things" or that you are "weak". Sleep difficulties - you may experience nightmares, interrupted sleep, or dreams about the person you have lost. Anxiety symptoms include having panic attacks, feeling nervous and terrified, or feeling unsteady. Loss of appetite, often known as comfort eating. Feeling exhausted and as if doing everything requires too much effort.
